Schloss Schönau
Schloss Schönau is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Situated in a 30-hectare private park, Schloss Schönau Jagdhaus offers furnished apartments with a wood-burning stove and free WiFi. Although self catering, the management will provide breakfast ingredients (supplement payable), and in summer breakfast can be taken on the private patio where you may be lucky enough to spot some of the deer that inhabit the grounds. The property features a heated outdoor pool and a large pond. All of the bright apartments comprise a living area with a sofa, a kitchenette with a dishwasher, and a bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Each apartment comes with a private terrace. There is also a common terrace with a playground and barbecue facilities available on site. Schönau Jagdhaus further features a conservatory, where you can relax and read. Boat trips on the pond are available free of charge and there is a roofed bicycle shelter. Vienna is under 20 miles away and can be reached, either by car, or from nearby (10 minute walk) railway station at Leobersdorf.
